syn I've listened to this album many times already and finally decided it deserved some cash. Straight up slow chugging guitar with some nicely syncopated drums and on occasion some nice and eerie ambience. I can't get enough of it.

MOURNING DESPERATION A candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long But it would have been nice to stay forever The beacon to my existence, now extinguished and I’m left without words. What do you know of sacrifice, what do you know of sacrifice? But when it’s all said and done, pain is far from gone; all I feel is vitriolic disgust for everything and everyone. I’m sorry if this doesn't make you proud, but all i want is to see you again and I just can’t have that There is no justice, every foul piece of shit gets to live another day and I lose everything Where is the humanity, watch me lose all empathy In mourning Desperation So this journey, may test me, but I’ll keep thinking of you I’ve got to keep stressing; this is not goodbye, not goodbye. FOREVER NOIR I’ve always struggled to understand this mortality, But I guess I’ll now accept who I am. All sentient beings just found their purpose I still don’t know what I was born to do. This hopelessness will invade my body as I become lethargic Our impending catharsis is my realisation I've been given one final chance at closure I won’t regret, I’ll do what I have to do No one can judge me and I can do no wrong. Alone but with clear perception is how I’m meant to die. At the blink of an eye I will be forgotten, like the heart beat in my creation. We always think we have longer to do what we dreamed of, well I’m taking the reins and pressing on. How will you spend your last moments? This is worldwide affliction, I will become a legend PILGRIM My journey through my soul, through these events, puts it all into perspective. Although I may have not traveled far, I still have learnt my place. For a short while I honestly thought your home was where my heart was Through losing it all I am a thousand miles away You were born nothing and you will remain nothing, and soon this won’t be, it’ll leave untraced. My father said we’ve all got to grow up one day, in the light of nothing in the shadow of an ending. Face the truth, the only thing you have in life your choking cold as everyday goes past The past was meant to be here to catch up on me and show me I’m a no one, now I’ve ascended through these trials, proving who I am. If I leave with no leave with no legacy, just understand we all die you’ll keep thinking the same things and you won’t dream The world was meant to break your heart, meant to break your heart.
